I’ve got a digital cable box that has no S-video output, just coaxial and rca. I need to connect it to my Projector. Is there a converter that will take coaxial signals and convert them to s-video? I’ve tried an RF Modulator, but no signal appears on my projector
I currently own an LCD projector, and when ever I use it, I notice the pixels, or "screen dore effect" It really annoys me, considering I spent 0.00 on the unit. If I buy a DLP projector, will I notice the pixels on the screen? I know this sounds stupid, but do DLP projectors even use pixels?
Sorry if sound stupid, but im new to this stuff
Also, I already know about the "rainbow effect" with DLP
my projector keeps blowing when i fix a new fuse, i suspect the rectifier to be faulty but unfortunately i dont know how to test the rectifier to assertain whether its faulty or not, its a four legged rectifier, please give me the procedure (step by step) in testing it either using a digital or an anologue meter since i have both, thanks
Here’s what I’m going to try:
Marantz A/V Receiver
Sony 400 Disc DVD/CD Changer
Definitive ProCinema 800s or something like that
1080i Projector *I need more money*
I want to hook the DVD/CD Changer to the receiver with Digital HDMI cable and go from the receiver to the projector with Analog Component (RGB)
My reasoning: HDMI cable works well at short distances. It also carries audio and video makes less messy wires to mess with. Component works well over long distances and plays 1080i just fine.
I just want some opinions, getting ready to drop 6,000 big ones
