I have an In Focus 4805 projector and a HD/ digital cable box. It’s connected with component cables through an adapter to the DVI/M1 port. It’s a pretty good picture @ 120 in. (especially the HD channels) but I’m wondering if the quality would be significantly better using HDMI to DVI? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

My software allows me to set the pixels of height and pixels of
length. To keep it slightly rectangle like a 35mm slide and fill the screen ( all text) How do I know what pixel amounts to set and whats "keep aspect ratio "mean?

I was looking into getting a Epson Moviemate Digital Projector — (possibly the 50 model), and was wondering how well it worked?

I was also wondering how well it can take abuse? Its portability feature is nice, but the constant pickup and setting down I’m worried will damage the DVD player. Any thoughts?

Ive been wondering this for some time if all theaters are still run by 35mm projectors or if they been using a digital projector of some sort.

What are the pros and cons of digital projectors?
